Ladies' Code member RiSe has died after spending several days in a comatose state.
RiSe suffered a severe head trauma in a fatal car accident on September 3. Emergency surgery was performed, but after her blood pressure dropped too low, surgeon had to postpone surgery until her condition stabilized.
RiSe had been in the ICU for nearly 3 days in an unconscious state before ultimately succumbing to her injuries.
The idol's exact time of death is 10:10 am KST.
According to reports, RiSe's family and agency staff members were by RiSe's side at the time of her death.
RiSe is the 2nd group member to have died from the group's car crash earlier this week. EunB died at the site of the accident. Her passing spread a wave of grief over the K-pop community as fans and members of the music industry all mourned the loss. Plans for RiSe's wake and funeral have not been arranged at this time.
